“THE MOMENT A CHILD IS BORN,
A MOTHER IS BORN."
- Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh
MOTHERHOOD IS A JOURNEY LIKE NO OTHER.
It’s rooted in transformation, exploration, and unending love. But motherhood, especially new motherhood, can also be a time of isolation and exhaustion that tests our resilience like nothing else.
Who better to understand what a new mom is going through than the mothers who came before her? Traditionally, communities of women—moms, sisters, aunts, cousins, and friends—were a support network for new mothers, allowing them to rest, go slow, and take care of their bodies and babies. But we no longer live in close community with other women who can honor what we are going through. Today, new moms are pressured to bounce back, to return to “normal” life as soon as possible, with little recognition of how much their lives and bodies have been reshaped. Moms are stretched thin, needing to be everything for everybody, often putting their own mental and physical health aside.
Through intentional gatherings, Revive Motherhood brings moms together to rebuild the communities we have lost, communities that support each other through every stage of the motherhood journey.
